An activity-packed programme for all the family and all sections of the community awaits you. Organised into six strands of topics and themes, there will be parallel talks, workshops, demonstrations and other events happening throughout the day, with the main hall at the Community Centre as the central information point.

An exquisite line-up of top-notch presenters and facilitators, giving you a chance to dig deep into the issues, ask your questions, grill the experts for knowledge, let yourself be inspired, engage in discussions and have your imagination tickled. A chance to network with like-minded people and set up some joint action and develop community activities.

All events are free and open to everybody, and as we expect a lot of interest in some of the events, we have put in place online registration.

You can use this booking form to reserve places on those events that interest you, and to make sure that there will be places available for the events of your choice, we suggest you book early.

There is a good chance with most of the events that you can just turn up on the day, but we suggest to give priority to participants who have registered their interest.

Please feel free to use this space as a public notice board, to make suggestions or comments and to express your views ...

Donations / Money

Although most contributors are generously giving their time and expertise for free, we do have some expenses: costs of the venue, leaflets, some money for a fundraiser and publicity as well as a website expert, and some money for travel and accommodation for contributors who come from further away. Your donation will go towards covering those costs. Any profit at the end of the day will go towards sustainable projects, with the bulk being donated towards Low Carbon West Oxford and Resurgence Magazine. Accounts will be made public on this website after the event, in case there are any questions.
For an explanation of the compromises we had to find for receiving charitable donations, and why the ‘Donate’ button below takes you to a German charity, see here.
