I’ve just been tonight to the LCWO meeting, where Barbara Hammond gave a report on the Big Green Challenge progress and on how Low Carbon West Oxford (LCWO) will carry this work forward. There was also information again on the Share Offer by WOCR (West Oxford Community Renewables - the associated Industrial and Provident Society).
ANYBODY CAN BECOME A SHARE HOLDER FROM AS LITTLE AS £10, and as they are applying for another prize of half a million, they do need as many share holders as possible to show the strength of community support behind the scheme. Deadline is November 27th for the application, so do buy your share - even if ti’s just £10 - before then.
